New Changes to the Iowa Farmers Indemnity Fund
Why is This Important?
On September 1, 2023, the per bushel assessment and
participation fees to replenish the Iowa Grain Indemnity Fund
will kick in, as required by Iowa law, for the first time since 1989.
Since it’s been over three decades since this assessment was
collected, the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land
